Kimberbell was established in 2009 in beautiful Logan, Utah, located in the Cache Valley of Northern Utah. We produce machine embroidery designs, project materials, project books, subscription boxes, and events.

Job Title: Marketing Intern/Marketing Assistant

Department: Marketing

Job Summary: Kimberbell is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Intern or Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the world of machine embroidery designs and products while supporting our marketing efforts, particularly within our customer care team. The intern will assist in answering customer support tickets, sending marketing emails, updating and maintaining our CRM, communicating with shops, and contributing to various marketing initiatives. This is a fantastic role for someone passionate about creativity, collaboration, and learning in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Position Type:

  • Part-time (15-25 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to support tickets from customers to answer questions and assist with orders.
  • Assist in creating and managing email campaigns to promote products and enhance engagement in our B2B channel.
  • Support the preparation and organization of marketing collateral for wholesale channels.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop creative marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Assist in updating and maintaining our Customer Relationship Management platform.
  • Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, including organizing files, maintaining records, and coordinating meetings.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or has completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic knowledge of email marketing platforms.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot and digital marketing principles is a plus.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, and use a computer for extended periods.
  • Occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, such as assembling marketing materials.
  • Ability to take and make phone calls.

‘Day in the life’: As an intern at Kimberbell, your day starts with answering customer support tickets and ensuring their questions and needs are addressed promptly. You’ll assist the marketing team by analyzing sales trends in the wholesale channel, preparing reports, and drafting targeted email campaigns. Afterward, you might collaborate with team members on brainstorming creative marketing strategies or content ideas. Lunch could involve a casual conversation about the latest industry trends, and the afternoon might include updating marketing collateral, organizing data, or assisting with social media campaigns.
