Job summary

Wellington International is seeking a Marketing Intern to support the day-to-day marketing activities during the Winter Equestrian Festival (January through March). This internship provides hands-on experience in digital marketing, traditional marketing, content creation, social media management, and brand strategy.

Duties include creating posts, drafting content, assisting with events, and analyzing performance metrics while collaborating with the marketing team.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college/university marketing-related program.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Willing to work varying hours, including nights and weekends.
• Must maintain a good attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Perform general administrative tasks to support the marketing team.
• Assist in creating and scheduling social media posts across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
• Draft blog posts, editorial articles, email newsletters, and marketing content.
• Assist with photo and video shoots, editing, and organizing media assets.
• Support planning and coordination of events, promotions, or product launches.
• Help with the distribution of marketing material across the show grounds.
• Monitor and create reports on marketing performance metrics.
• Work harmoniously with other interns and employees.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds regularly.

Compensation: Hourly Rate
