Job summary

HDR in Texas is seeking a Marketing Intern to support transportation pursuits and assist with proposal development, presentations, and marketing collateral.

You will coordinate with technical staff to update resumes, maintain databases, and help with meetings. Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, with strong organization and communication skills, and familiarity with Microsoft Office; Adobe Creative Cloud preferred.

Qualifications

  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills required.
  • Good written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills expected.

Responsibilities

  • Offer real-world experience supporting transportation pursuits and projects
  • Assist with proposal development, qualifications packages, presentations, and marketing collateral.
  • Coordinate with technical staff to update and develop resumes and gather pursuit information.
  • Maintain and update marketing databases, project information, and business development materials.
  • Participate in and lead coordination meetings with technical teams as appropriate.
  • Perform assignments under the direction of marketing and transportation professionals.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

In the role of Marketing Intern, we'll count on you to:
  • Offer real-world experience supporting transportation pursuits and projects

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
  • Pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, business, journalism, graphic design, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments independently.

Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, preferred.
