Delta-Montrose Electric Association ("DMEA") is your local electric cooperative dedicated to meeting the diverse energy needs of families and businesses. DMEA supports programs that strengthen local communities, like emerging energy technologies, local renewable energy development, and the deployment of a fiber internet subsidiary, Elevate Internet.

About Us:

DMEA's service territory is in Southwest Colorado, and we serve approximately 37,000 meters and 30,000 members. We provide affordable, reliable, and safe electric service to members living and working in Montrose and Delta counties. We also provide electric service to a small portion of Gunnison County.

Compensation:

The wage for this full-time non-exempt is $15.16/hour.

Job Summary:

This position under general supervision will undertake a variety of assignments and projects to support DMEA/Elevate marketing activities. This position requires strong oral and written communication, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Must be 16 years of age or older.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Assist in the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns.
2. Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and produce creative content ideas.
3. Maintain organized records of marketing activities and materials.
4. Assist in planning, organizing, and attending marketing events, such as the farmer's market and canvasing neighborhoods.

Essential Physical and Mental Requirements:

• Requires frequent sitting, standing, walking and the use of keyboard/computer, and occasional bending, kneeling, reaching and lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Requires attention to detail; the ability to read, write and perform basic math.
• The use of office equipment including personal computers, related software, copiers and fax machines, etc.
