Job summary

Blain’s Farm & Fleet invites undergrad students to join its Retail Marketing internship in Janesville, WI. You’ll explore brand development, consumer engagement and campaign execution while contributing to real projects and learning from mentors.

Ideal candidates are juniors or seniors with a minimum GPA of 2.5, a valid driver's license, and strong communication, writing and organizational skills. Housing support may be available for out-of-town interns during the program.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a junior or senior at an accredited college or university.
• Minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong communication, writing & time management skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Learn functionalities of a Retail Marketing department while gaining real world understanding of brand development, consumer engagement & campaign execution strategies.
• Contribute to key projects: Work on real-world projects, making impactful contributions to the business.
• Assist in Strategic Initiatives: Learn, develop, and implement ideas based off Blain's Pillars.
• Engage in cross-functional teams: Collaborate with different functions to understand how cross functional support contributes to the overall success of the business.
• Support Daily Operations: Assist the team with day-to-day task to gain insight on the departments process.
• Present Your Findings: Deliver a presentation of your project and research to key stakeholders.
• Receive mentor and coaching: Work closely with your mentor receiving feedback and guidance to help you navigate your career path.
• Participate in hands-on workshops: Led by industry experts, gain valuable insights and skills to equip you for success in the professional world

Compensation

• Competitive base pay starting at $20.00/hr
