Job description

The Role

Find the signal before someone spends against it.

The Marketing Intelligence Analyst helps Creative Jolt understand the conditions surrounding a growth decision before assumptions turn into strategy or client capital turns into media spend.

You will examine markets from multiple angles: demand, competition, geography, search behavior, cost pressure, seasonality, conversion readiness, and business economics. The goal is not simply to collect information. It is to determine what the evidence means for the decision in front of us.

What You’ll Own

Evidence that changes the decision.
  • Investigate markets before acquisition strategies or expansion plans are built.
  • Connect fragmented market, search, competitive, geographic, and economic signals.
  • Separate meaningful evidence from interesting but non-consequential information.
  • Communicate what the evidence supports, what remains uncertain, and what should happen next.

What Success Looks Like

The team knows more before committing resources.
  1. Market recommendations are supported by evidence that can be explained and challenged.

  2. Important constraints and weak assumptions surface before they become expensive.

  3. Research becomes useful direction rather than a collection of charts, screenshots, and statistics.

Responsibilities

Build a defensible picture of the market.
  • Research market demand, competition, customer behavior, geography, and economic conditions.
  • Analyze search demand, paid-media conditions, competitive visibility, and related acquisition signals.
  • Examine historical campaign, conversion, lead-quality, and market data when available.
  • Build clear market briefs, opportunity assessments, competitive reviews, and decision-support materials.
  • Identify gaps or contradictions in available evidence and communicate uncertainty appropriately.
  • Collaborate with performance strategy, acquisition, conversion, and client-facing contributors.
  • Improve repeatable research methods while preserving room for context and judgment.
  • Help determine when Creative Jolt should recommend proceeding, changing direction, testing further, or declining an opportunity.

Qualifications

Analytical discipline without false certainty.
  • Experience in marketing analytics, market research, competitive intelligence, business analysis, or a related discipline.
  • Strong ability to investigate unfamiliar markets and organize complex information.
  • Comfort working with quantitative and qualitative evidence together.
  • Ability to communicate conclusions clearly without overstating what the data proves.
  • Strong written reasoning and attention to source quality.
  • Experience identifying patterns, inconsistencies, and decision-relevant variables across multiple data sources.

Preferred Qualifications

Helpful depth.
  • Familiarity with Google Ads, keyword research, search trends, competitive research, and digital-market analysis.
  • Experience with lead-generation businesses, local markets, service industries, or considered purchases.
  • Working knowledge of analytics platforms, call tracking, CRM data, or lead-quality systems.
  • Experience with spreadsheets, visualization, research platforms, or structured data analysis.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted research workflows and the ability to independently validate their output.

How We Work

Performance. Judgment. Accountability.

More information does not automatically create a better decision. At Creative Jolt, intelligence exists to improve judgment.

We expect analysts to understand where evidence came from, recognize its limitations, explain what it changes, and distinguish confidence from certainty. Intelligent systems can increase the amount of information available to us. Human judgment decides what deserves weight.
