Job summary

Werner Electric Supply Company is offering a marketing internship in Wisconsin, focused on planning and executing campaigns, market research, and brand-building initiatives. You will contribute to hands-on projects and learn from cross-department mentors in a fast-paced environment.

The program provides executive mentorship, Lean Six Sigma training and certification, and networking opportunities with internal and external stakeholders, along with potential for year-long internships and full-time

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing marketing events and on-site activities.
• Develop event-related promotional materials aligned with brand messaging.
• Engage with event attendees, address inquiries, collect feedback, and foster positive interactions.
• Collect and analyze data related to event performance and attendee feedback to provide insights.
• Capture photography and prepare event content for social posts.
• Prepare professional summary reports of events for sales and executives.
• Coordinate scheduling, communications, and documentation for events.
• Manage inventory of event supplies and materials.
• Represent the Werner Brand professionally at events.

Timeline and Expectations

Werner will be posting the internship positions starting in late September which will run through the end of November. We will be selecting candidates to move forward with from HR phone screen to virtual hiring manager interview during this time.

Job Summary

In this role, you will assist in executing various marketing campaigns, conduct market research, and contribute creative ideas to drive brand awareness and engagement. This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced marketing environment while working on exciting projects that make a real impact.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and execution of marketing events, providing valuable support in logistics, coordination, and on-site activities.


• Contribute to the development of event-related promotional materials, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and visual standards.


• Engage with event attendees, addressing inquiries, collecting feedback, and fostering positive interactions to enhance the overall participant experience.


• Collect and analyze data related to event performance, attendee feedback, and engagement metrics to provide insights for improvement.


• Capture photography and prepare event related content for social posts.

• Prepare professional summary reports of events for sales and executive teams.


• Provide administrative assistance, including scheduling, communication, and documentation, to facilitate smooth event planning processes.


• Manage inventory of event supplies and materials.


• Engage in brainstorming sessions to improve process efficiencies and customer experience.

• Assist in fulfillment duties related to marketing materials and promotional items, ensuring accurate inventory management and timely distribution to support event logistics.


• Represent the Werner Brand professionally at all events.


• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience: Enrolled in an accredited program pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, or another related field
