Marketing Director, US Primary Hip Market

This is a high-impact opportunity to shape the future of our hip reconstructive portfolio, working closely with commercial teams, global marketing, and US leadership. Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute downstream marketing strategies for the US Primary Hip portfolio
  • Develop go-to-market plans including promotions, medical education, digital marketing, and inventory management
  • Manage and mentor a team of two marketing professionals
  • Build deep market understanding and monitor competitive landscape
  • Define KPIs and support annual business planning
  • Partner with sales and pricing teams to drive targeting, physician engagement, and pricing strategies
  • Collaborate with demand, supply, and operations teams on product forecasting
  • Create compelling marketing materials and campaigns
  • Provide technical product support to commercial teams
  • Represent Smith+Nephew at industry events, customer meetings, and strategic gatherings
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a technical field with proven marketing experience
  • Experience managing mature and newly launched medical device products
  • Strong marketing and campaign development skills
  • Proven leadership and team development capabilities
  • Deep knowledge of the orthopaedics industry
  • Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making skills

Role location and travel

This role is based in the field, must be Eastern or Central Time near a major airport; ideally in Memphis, TN or Pittsburgh, PA

Compensation and benefits

The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $150,000-210,000 USD annually and the compensation offered will depend on the candidate’s qualifications. You may also be entitled to receive bonus and benefits, which may include medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401k, tuition reimbursement, medical leave programs, and a variety of wellness offerings.
