Job summary

Flow-Tech Systems seeks a hands-on Performance Marketing Director to lead strategy, creative execution, and brand development across water treatment technology brands serving multiple markets. This is a build-it role with ownership of brand execution and growth across a national rep network and direct markets.

You will guide in-house and outsourced design teams, translate technical data into compelling messaging, and drive measurable pipeline contributions while growing the team in 2027.

Qualifications

  • At least 5–10 years marketing experience in technical or mechanical industries.
  • Translate technical performance into clear value propositions.
  • Strong writing skills in both short and long form.
  • Strong visual and aesthetic judgment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar.
  • Experience building and executing brand strategy.
  • Experience managing creative staff.
  • B2B experience preferred.
  • Experience with CRM is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a unified marketing strategy across all company brands.
  • Establish brand positioning frameworks for each vertical market.
  • Translate technical performance data into compelling messaging.
  • Drive data-driven growth with measurable lead generation and pipeline goals.
  • Create annual and quarterly marketing roadmaps.
  • Design, execute, and optimize multi-channel campaigns (LinkedIn, Google Ads, programmatic).
  • Build and manage end-to-end lead generation systems including landing pages and CRM integration.
  • Establish KPIs and regular reporting to measure marketing effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Business Development to align marketing with sales targets and shorten cycles.
  • Test and iterate on creative, messaging, and offers using A/B testing.

Flow-Tech Systems is seeking a hands-on performance Marketing Director to lead strategy, creative execution, and brand development across its water treatment technology brands serving markets including Aquatics, HVAC, Data Centers, Industrial, Power Generation, and other developing business segments. This is not a maintenance role; this is a build-it role. You will develop and execute a cohesive marketing strategy that elevates brand authority, communicates measurable technical superiority, and drives engagement across a national rep network and direct markets. You will work directly with Business Development and manage in-house and outsourced graphic designers, with anticipated team growth in 2027. This role is ideal for a design-fluent performance marketer who thrives in technical environments and wants full ownership of brand execution.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and execute a unified marketing strategy across all company brands
  • Establish brand positioning frameworks for each vertical market
  • Translate technical performance data into compelling, digestible messaging
  • Drive data-driven growth by setting ambitious, measurable lead generation and pipeline contribution goalsCreate annual and quarterly marketing roadmaps
Performance Marketing & Lead Generation
  • Design, execute, and optimize multi-channel performance marketing campaigns (LinkedIn, Google Ads, programmatic, retargeting) to generate high-quality leads across verticals
  • Build and manage end-to-end lead generation systems including landing pages, conversion funnels, lead scoring, nurturing sequences, and CRM integration to support both direct sales and the national rep network
  • Establish clear KPIs and implement regular reporting/dashboarding to measure and continuously improve marketing effectiveness
  • Collaborate closely with Business Development to align marketing efforts with sales targets, qualify inbound leads, and shorten sales cycles through targeted content and offers
  • Test and iterate on creative, messaging, and offers using A/B and multivariate testing to maximize lead volume and quality at scale
Brand & Creative Direction
  • Lead visual identity consistency across all brands
  • Oversee development of brochures, case studies, technical literature
  • Direct and execute website updates and brand messaging improvements
  • Maintain high visual and messaging standards across all touch points
Content & Market Presence
  • Create high-converting technical content assets (webinars, guides, case studies, calculators) optimized for lead capture and SEO
  • Develop case studies highlighting measurable system performance
  • Coordinate brand storytelling across verticals
  • Manage and mentor in-house graphic design team
  • Build scalable creative workflows
  • Evaluate future marketing hires as the department grows
