Job summary

Bernhardt Furniture Company in Lenoir, NC is seeking a Marketing Design Specialist to coordinate showroom, photo, and mockup samples across production lines.

You will manage inventory for the Design Vault and photography samples, ensure accurate paperwork, and support showrooms and trade shows with timely sample transitions. The role reports to the Marketing Manager and focuses on quality, organization, and process adherence.

Qualifications

• Coordinate sample production for Photo, Showroom, Mockups and rep samples.
• Maintain Design Vault inventory and all photography samples across locations.
• Enter Parts orders for rep samples, mockups, and showrooms.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates sample production for all Photo, Showroom, Mockups, and rep samples. Distributes pieces either to photo stock or odd stock once photography is completed. Creates the odd stock paperwork.
• Manages Design Vault inventory, Created Art Work Inventory, Archive Inventory and all Photography Samples in studio, 3B, and odd stock. Keeps an accurate manual inventory of all locations and adjusts when pieces are removed and added.
• Enters all Parts orders for existing product req uired for r e p samples, mockups, and showrooms.
• Coordinates transition of all photo samples to photo studio or an outside designated photo venue (including rental trucks). Responsible for keeping the photo studio and 3B sample warehouse clean.
• Oversees and coordinates (including all paperwork required by central) loading of all samples for all showroom and trade show deliveries.
• Coordinates disposal of old samples left over from development process.
• QC's all showroom samples, mockups and custom products. Responsible for taking a picture of all custom products and making sure it is forwarded to Christa to be filed with original request.
• Responsible for storing all ex.fabric / leather used for photography and showrooms and documenting the ones that we have 10 yards / 3 hides of excess.
• Any additional duties or special projects as directed by the Marketing Manager.

Job description

Basic Function

Coordinate the placement of showroom, photo, rep samples, and mockups produced in the sample room and or on plant 7, 3 or 4 production lines.

Organizational Relationships

Accountable to the Marketing Manager. Works closely with Plant 7, 3, and 4 Production Managers, Design Managers, Marketing Sales Executive, Plant Managers, and Central Warehouse.

Authority

The Marketing Design Specialist is authorized to carry out the actions necessary to properly coordinate sample production, sample transition to designated areas, and design vault inventory. The Marketing Manager must agree with these actions, and they must be in accordance with Bernhardt policies and procedures.
