Webstaurant Store, the world’s largest online restaurant supply company, is seeking a full-time Data Scientist to join the Data Science team. The role focuses on supplying statistical rigor to analytics projects, uncovering insights and opportunities for growth and optimization.

This position can be remote in some US states or be based in Lititz, PA or Tampa, FL. The Data Scientist will advise on analysis techniques, collaborate with analytics engineers, conduct rigorous statistical analyses,

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL with strong foundation in statistical methods.
• Hands-on experience with experimentation and causal inference frameworks.
• Experience building or refining Media Mix Models (MMM) and Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA).
• Ability to translate model outputs into actionable insights for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Advising on analysis and modeling techniques for structured and unstructured data.
• Collaborating with analytics engineers to implement advanced statistical methodologies.
• Conducting exploratory analysis including hypothesis testing and statistical inference.
• Designing and analyzing lift/blackout/other experiments to improve attribution models.
• Partnering with paid marketing teams to inform budget allocation and channel strategy.
• Developing processes to monitor model performance and data accuracy.
• Defending and explaining predictive/ML models to non-technical stakeholders.
