Job summary

TrendAI, the global AI security leader and enterprise business unit of Trend Micro, seeks a senior measurement & analytics leader in Austin to shape how AI engines cite us and how we tell our story. You will own the intelligence layer across web presence and earned media, establish methodologies, and provide recurring leadership reports feeding PR, editorial, social and analyst relations.

Collaborate with data teams and brand/web to ensure accurate representations and actionable recommendations

Qualifications

• 6+ years in organic visibility, earned media or marketing analytics.
• Built a measurement program from zero with baseline and recurring reporting.
• Experience with enterprise AI-visibility platforms.
• Ability to turn measurement into content and messaging recommendations.
• Familiarity with reference and knowledge-graph surfaces that shape online brands.
• Comfort working with data teams on shared analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own the measurement framework for TrendAI's AI citation landscape.
• Define prompt sets and analysis standards reflecting how buyers ask questions.
• Deliver recurring leadership reports alongside earned media, social and campaign performance.
• Partner with PR, editorial, social and analyst teams to translate insights into market actions.
• Measure impact and report clearly when targets are met or not.

About The Role

Buyers no longer start with a search box. They ask an AI engine who leads a category, and the answer shapes the shortlist before a vendor conversation ever happens. When buyers ask AI engines about AI security, is TrendAI™ named, is it cited, and is it framed correctly? This role owns that question. You will build the measurement that answers it — and, more importantly, turn that measurement into direction for what Market Influence publishes and how it tells the story.

Optimization of our web properties and paid search sits with our Web and Search teams, who own those surfaces. You own the intelligence layer: the company-wide view of how TrendAI™ is represented in AI-generated answers, the canonical definition of who TrendAI™ is, and the recommendations that make our content and earned media measurably more citable.

What You Will Own

Measurement

• Build the baseline for how the major AI engines represent TrendAI™ against our competitive set, with a documented, repeatable methodology
• Own a stable prompt set that reflects how buyers actually ask, and the analysis standards behind it
• Deliver recurring reporting leadership uses to judge progress, landed in our shared analytics environment alongside earned media, social and campaign performance

Direction — the core of the role

• Establish where TrendAI™ is winning and losing citations, and why
• Turn that into specific recommendations: what to publish, where to earn presence, and how to frame it, with the evidence that makes them actionable rather than advisory
• Partner with our PR, editorial, social and analyst-facing teams to put those recommendations into market
• Measure whether the work moved the number, and say so plainly when it did not

Entity

• Own how TrendAI™ is defined and resolved by the systems that answer questions about us, including our relationship to the wider Trend Micro portfolio
• Keep our representation accurate and consistent across the reference surfaces engines rely on, partnering with Brand and Web

Competitive intelligence

• Maintain a running read on how AI engines name and frame our competitors, and deliver the head-to-head view leadership uses to judge where we stand

What We Are Looking For

• Six or more years across organic visibility, earned media or marketing analytics, including hands-on ownership of AI answer visibility — not repackaged classical SEO
• A proven record building a measurement program from zero: baseline, methodology, recurring reporting, and interpretation that senior stakeholders trust
• Working understanding of how large language models retrieve and cite content — enough to reason about why one source gets picked up and another does not
• Experience with enterprise AI-visibility and media-intelligence platforms, and the judgment to tell real capability from vendor claim
• Demonstrated ability to turn measurement into content and messaging recommendations that teams act on. Be ready to talk through an example.
• Familiarity with the reference and knowledge-graph surfaces that shape how brands are understood online
• Comfort working alongside data teams on a shared analytics platform, and enough technical fluency to specify work precisely for web teams
• B2B enterprise technology experience; cybersecurity strongly preferred
• Fluency with AI tooling in daily practice
• People-leadership experience, or credible evidenced readiness for it
