Horizontal Talent is seeking a hands-on analytics professional to shape trusted reporting, improve data quality, and translate complex data into actionable business insights in Snowflake and Power BI.

You will maintain dashboards, write SQL, partner with marketing, retail and other teams, and help drive performance decisions with clear, scalable datasets.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3+ years in analytics, BI, reporting, or similar data role.
• Strong SQL, Snowflake experience, and Power BI ownership.

Responsabilidades

Join a fast-paced analytics team where you will help shape trusted reporting, strengthen data quality, and turn complex information into clear business insight. This role is ideal for a hands-on analyst who enjoys working in Snowflake, building and maintaining Power BI reporting, and partnering across teams to support marketing, retail, and broader business performance decisions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards, datasets, metric definitions, and reporting documentation to support accuracy and consistency.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries in Snowflake for reporting, validation, and recurring business analysis.
• Work with data engineering partners to improve curated data assets and strengthen the overall data foundation.
• Investigate raw data to answer business questions, identify trends, and uncover actionable insights.
• Perform root cause analysis when reports, data pipelines, or performance metrics produce unexpected results.
• Translate business needs into clear reporting requirements, scalable datasets, and repeatable analytical solutions.
• Collaborate with marketing, analytics, retail, and technical stakeholders to deliver trusted, useful reporting outputs.

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in analytics, data science, information systems, business, statistics, economics, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or a related data-focused role.
• Strong SQL skills with experience querying, joining, transforming, troubleshooting, and validating large datasets.
• Experience working in Snowflake or a similar cloud data warehouse.
• Experience owning or supporting Power BI dashboards, datasets, reporting logic, and metric definitions.
• Ability to investigate data issues, perform root cause analysis, and communicate findings clearly.
• Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DAX and Power Query.
• Background in data modeling or reporting design.
• Exposure to marketing analytics, retail analytics, or customer journey reporting.
• Comfort working in environments where priorities can shift and attention to detail is essential.
