The organization has grown significantly, adding more than 70 million members in the last five years and now employs more than 1,000 people across offices in several U.S. and U.K. cities.
This role offers the opportunity to help drive the company’s paid marketing technology while working directly with growth marketing, analytics, engineering, and BI teams.
We are seeking a Growth Technology Associate to help establish, optimize, and enable complex marketing initiatives through expert support of paid channel marketing campaigns.
This role is key to driving the company’s paid marketing engine. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working with marketing campaigns on paid channels and is well-versed in the technical and operational components of attribution, tracking, and optimization.
The candidate should think like a data-driven marketing technologist: comfortable writing SQL, working closely with technical and marketing teams, and translating ambiguous targeting requirements into precise, reproducible audience logic.
Data & Audience Engineering (SQL-first)
Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries in Google BigQuery to build, transform, and manage paid marketing audiences, translating marketer targeting requirements into precise, reproducible audience logic.
Enable and QA audience segments end-to-end: validate segment logic and counts, apply suppressions, and push audiences to paid platforms (Google Customer Match, Meta Custom Audiences, Segment, LiveRamp).
Own conversion and audience data sets through the pipeline, from BigQuery query to JSON config to CDP delivery, ensuring accuracy, freshness, and completeness of signals reaching each platform.
Build SQL-based checks and diagnostics for conversion tracking, campaign performance, and attribution coverage across the paid funnel.
Technical Operations
Manage technical implementation and troubleshooting across a growing list of paid channels (Google, Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, DSPs).
Diagnose tracking and attribution issues at the data level, investigating click-tracking gaps, missing user IDs, and cross-platform discrepancies using SQL against internal marketing tables.
Channel & Stakeholder Management
Lead technical integration of new marketing channels and support scaling campaigns with the right audience and conversion signals.
Optimize campaign performance through data analysis and technical improvements.
Partner with growth marketing, analytics, engineering, and BI teams, turning ambiguous requests into clear SQL logic and data solutions, and sharing results and learnings back with stakeholders.
Process Development
Create technical documentation, query templates, and best practice for the Growth Tech team.
Advocate for efficient, accurate, and innovative data solutions, and drive process improvements for marketing operations and data infrastructure.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a quantitative field.
Proficient in SQL.
Experienced in activating audiences, campaign link setup, and conversions in paid marketing platforms (e.g., Google, YouTube, Snapchat, TikTok, Facebook).
Familiar with mobile measurement platforms (Branch.io, Kochava) for mobile campaign analysis.
Experience building audiences and conversions via SQL for marketing campaigns.
Knowledge of audience and conversion APIs and conversion optimization on mobile DSPs.
Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
Analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Demonstrates strong ownership with well-developed problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with server-side tagging via Google Tag Manager.
Hands-on, high-capacity doer and multi-tasker.
Experience with full-funnel marketing KPIs, campaign execution, optimization, and sharing results/learnings with stakeholders.
Directly measurable impact on the business and the financial progress of 100M+ members.
Fast-paced team operating at the cutting edge of marketing technology.
Highly cross-functional role with strong growth opportunities across several disciplines.
Extremely data-driven organization with deep appreciation for technology and how to leverage it for better member experiences.
Influence over product roadmaps and the company’s tech stack.
