Job summary

A leading electrical contractor is seeking a Marketing & Creative Intern for a 12-week summer internship in St. Louis. We are seeking a Marketing & Creative Intern to support our Marketing & Communications team during a 12‑week summer internship. This in‑office role offers hands‑on experience supporting creative marketing initiatives, proposal development, and internal communications within a leading electrical contractor serving the St. Louis region and beyond.

The intern will work closely with the Marketing & Communications Manager and collaborate with project managers, estimators, and operations teams to support both creative marketing efforts and proposal‑related initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the creation and scheduling of professional social media graphics and content calendars (primarily LinkedIn)
• Support photo and video capture at job sites, company events, and internal initiatives
• Assist with basic video editing for corporate and professional marketing use
• Provide graphic design support for marketing materials, proposals, internal communications, and events
• Assist with bid proposals, including formatting, visual layout, graphics, and content support
• Coordinate with project managers and operations teams to gather project information, photos, and content for marketing and proposal efforts
• Support event planning and logistics, including coordination, setup, and follow‑up
• Organize and maintain marketing and proposal assets, including photos, videos, resumes, and project sheets
• Provide general marketing and communications support as needed

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled college student: senior standing strongly preferred
• Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Construction Management, or a related field
• Strong interest in marketing, visual communications, and the construction or skilled trades industry
• Working knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools
• Basic photography and video skills (professional or mobile equipment)
• Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a professional, fast‑paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Position Details

• Summer internship position beginning mid‑May 2026 through early August 2026; 12 weeks, 40 hours per week.
• Location: Interns will report to our St. Louis office for the duration of the internship
• Competitive hourly compensation offered.
