The Baltimore Sun is seeking a creative, organized and collaborative Marketing Coordinator, Creative & Campaigns to support marketing initiatives and brand creative across subscriptions, audience engagement, partnerships, advertising and internal communications.
This role combines marketing coordination with hands-on graphic design, including building email campaigns, creating digital and print assets, supporting partner activations and subscription offers, and bringing marketing campaigns to life.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, maintain strong attention to detail and take projects from concept through execution.
Essential Functions
- Support the day-to-day execution of marketing campaigns across digital, print, email, social and other channels, including subscriber acquisition, retention and engagement initiatives.
- Build and deploy marketing emails and assist with subscription offers, landing pages, promotional experiences and other customer-facing initiatives.
- Coordinate marketing projects and timelines, ensuring assets, approvals and deliverables are completed on schedule, while maintaining organized marketing calendars, creative files and campaign documentation.
- Own the day-to-day creation and production of digital and print marketing assets, including email graphics, social media assets, display ads, promotional materials, flyers, signage, presentations, newsletters and other collateral.
- Work within established brand guidelines while bringing fresh creative ideas and visual solutions to campaigns.
- Manage creative production from concept through final delivery, including incorporating feedback and preparing final files for various platforms and vendors.

Education and Experience Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in marketing coordination, graphic design, creative production or a related field.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
- Experience designing for both digital and print environments.
- Strong understanding of basic marketing principles and how creative assets support marketing objectives.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize competing projects and proactively identify what needs to get done.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable learning new technology, marketing platforms and digital tools quickly.
This is a temporary role, averaging 30-40 hours per week, with the potential to become a permanent position.
