About the role:

Our company is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to create content and represent our brands in person in Los Angeles. Most of our marketing team works remotely, so this role covers the work that needs someone on the ground: photo and video content, social media, local collaborations, and events.

You will generate a steady flow of content ideas, produce a high volume of photo and video content across our brands, and be our on the ground presence at collaborations and events. You will report to our Social Media Manager.

What you'll do:

Content and creative (top priority)

• Generate content ideas and produce a high volume of photo and short form video content across our brands.
• Shoot product photography at our Los Angeles office and warehouse.
• Edit content and hand it off to the Social Media Manager for posting.
• Post directly to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms when assigned, following our brand guidelines.
• Keep content organized and labeled so the team can find and reuse it.

Collaborations:

• Coordinate in person collaborations with Los Angeles organizations and brands.
• Represent our brands on site and capture content during collaborations.
• Create and post social content for collaborations.

Events:

• Prepare for Los Angeles events, such as festivals and dog events, including materials, product, and displays.
• Transport, set up, staff, and break down event booths.
• Capture photo and video content at events.

What you bring:

• 1 to 2 years of experience running social media accounts for a brand or business.
• Hands-on experience with TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
• A portfolio of photo and video content you created yourself, including shooting, editing, and captions. Strong, fast video editing skills in CapCut or a similar tool (such as Premiere Pro or Final Cut), including cuts, transitions, text overlays, sound, and trend formats, are required. Your portfolio should show this.
• A steady stream of content ideas and the ability to produce content at high volume.
• Experience with event setup or in person brand activations.
• Highly organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities across several brands.
• A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for travel to events, collaborations, and shoots.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Shopify.
• Experience with Klaviyo.
• Experience in ecommerce, consumer products, or the pet industry.

Schedule and physical requirements:

This is a full time, in office role in Los Angeles, Monday through Friday. Some evening and weekend work is required for events, collaborations, and social media coverage.

The role requires the ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation, for event setup and product photography. It also involves standing and moving for extended periods at events and shoots.

Our company provides the camera and phone equipment used for work. Mileage for work travel is reimbursed under company policy.
