The Position
As the Marketing Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in bringing awareness and availability of the services provided by McKinley to life through marketing campaigns, events, and digital engagement. From designing eye-catching content to coordinating outreach efforts, you’ll ensure our brand is consistent, our message is clear, and our community stays connected. This is a great opportunity for someone who is creative, organized, and passionate about using marketing to make a difference.
Compensation And Benefits
The pay range we’re offering is $26.00–$30.00 hourly, depending on experience.

A Day in the Life
No two days are the same, but here’s what you might find yourself doing in a typical week:
- Drafting and scheduling social media posts to highlight upcoming events and community stories
- Designing a flyer in Canva or Adobe for a new program launch
- Updating the website with fresh content to keep resources current
- Pulling campaign analytics to share insights with the team
- Meeting with program staff to brainstorm creative ways to reach new audiences
- Helping promote and coordinate a community event or fundraiser
You’ll balance creativity with organization — switching between big-picture strategy and the details that make campaigns successful.
What You’ll Do
- Plan and coordinate marketing campaigns to increase awareness and support fundraising goals
- Create and share digital and print content (newsletters, brochures, social media, etc.)
- Maintain and update website content, ensuring brand consistency
- Track and report on campaign performance and engagement metrics
- Support promotional aspects of events, including community outreach and media coordination
- Bring forward new ideas to grow our audience and expand community engagement
- Jump in on other marketing and communications projects as needed
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or public relations
- Experience with social media, digital marketing tools, and campaign tracking
Skills & Knowledge
- Excellent writing, editing, and content creation skills
- Familiarity with design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Experience with email marketing platforms and social media management tools
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Other Requirements
- Must pass pre-employment physical exam, TB test, and drug screening
- Ability to travel to multiple sites as needed
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds (files, boxes, materials)
- DOJ, FBI, and Child Abuse Index clearance
- Insurability under a corporate automobile insurance policy
