Job description

Marketing Coordinator

Reports to: Director of Marketing, Sales Operations and Customer Experience

Department: Demand Creation

Location: Rapid City, South Dakota - In Person Only

Pay: $50,000-$70,000 per year, based on experience

Position Overview

B9Creations is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to help execute the marketing activities that support our brand, sales team, customers, and growth initiatives. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety, moves quickly, and likes turning ideas into finished work.

One day you may be building an email campaign, the next supporting a product launch, developing sales collateral, researching a new market, updating the website, analyzing CRM data, or using AI to make a process faster and more effective.

You will work closely with the Marketing Manager and collaborate across sales, product, engineering, customer experience, and leadership. We are looking for someone who can execute well, stay organized, communicate clearly, and take ownership of their work. As you grow in the role, you will have opportunities to take on increasingly complex projects and responsibilities.

This is an in-person-only position based at B9Creations' office in Rapid City, South Dakota. Remote and hybrid work arrangements are not available for this role.

Job Responsibilities
  • Marketing Execution & Campaigns
    • Coordinate and execute digital marketing campaigns across email, social media, web, and other channels.
    • Support campaign planning, execution, tracking, and reporting.
    • Help execute product launches, new market initiatives, events, webinars, and other marketing programs.
    • Create and maintain sales enablement materials, presentations, collateral, and other marketing assets.
    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather the information and resources needed to keep projects moving.
    • Monitor campaign performance and help identify opportunities to improve results.
    • Maintain marketing calendars, project timelines, and other tools used to keep initiatives organized and on schedule.
    • Content & Communications
    • Write, edit, and coordinate content for email, social media, websites, case studies, customer stories, presentations, and marketing collateral.
    • Work with internal subject-matter experts to translate technical information into clear, compelling content for different audiences and markets. You do not need to be a technical expert-we will provide the technical knowledge and support; you will help turn it into effective marketing.
    • Maintain consistency in messaging, brand voice, and visual identity across marketing materials.
    • Work with customers and internal subject-matter experts to develop stories and content.
    • Support internal and external communications as needed.
    • Help maintain and update website content.
  • CRM, Sales & Customer Intelligence
    • Support the day-to-day use and maintenance of our CRM and marketing technology.
    • Help maintain accurate, organized customer, prospect, and marketing data.
    • Conduct market, customer, competitor, and industry research.
    • Assist with audience segmentation, targeting, lead management, and campaign lists.
    • Analyze customer and prospect activity to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights.
    • Support reporting across the marketing and sales funnel.
    • Work with sales to ensure marketing activities and materials support current business development priorities.
  • AI & Automation
    • Use AI tools to improve research, content development, analysis, campaign execution, and other marketing activities.
    • Identify repetitive or manual processes that could be improved through AI or automation.
    • Help build and document repeatable AI-enabled marketing workflows.
    • Test new tools and approaches and evaluate whether they create meaningful improvements in quality, efficiency, or results.
    • Use good judgment when working with AI, including reviewing, fact-checking, and refining AI-generated work rather than relying on it without evaluation.
    • Stay curious about emerging technologies and bring forward ideas for how they could be applied across marketing and the broader business.
