U.S. Futaba, Inc. is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to drive content for our website, monthly newsletter, annual catalog, and tradeshow materials. The role also maintains our LinkedIn presence and supports marketing campaigns with a hands-on, collaborative approach.

Based in Hampton Roads, Virginia, you will coordinate with internal teams and external providers to deliver accurate, timely communications and compelling copy. A degree is preferred, and experience with marketing tools is a plus.

U.S. Futaba, Inc. has been an industry pioneer within furniture hardware since 1983. For over 42 years, U.S. Futaba, Inc. has specialized in wholesale importing of furniture hardware for the North American woodworking industry. Futaba operates from our warehouses in Santa Ana, CA and Norfolk, VA. We develop products and programs with suppliers around the world for customers across North America.

The Marketing Coordinator will work on projects pertaining to our company’s website, monthly newsletter, annual catalog, annual tradeshow preparation, and marketing campaigns. This role will also develop and maintain our company’s LinkedIn presence. This role promotes autonomy and will provide an environment to foster the required skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous work experience in a similar role.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 – specifically Excel, Outlook, Word, OneDrive, and Teams.
• Effective and comprehensive verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills – punctual and proactive.
• Strong attention to detail, and strong planning and organizational skills.
• Based in Hampton Roads, Virginia.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Experience with writing copy for a company.
• Familiarity with the furniture hardware industry.
• Experience with Prophet 21 and Epicor Data Analytics.
• Experience with software including but not limited to Google Analytics, Adobe, Canva, and ChatGPT.
• Experience in website development – specifically Letterpress.
• Experience in running social media sites.
• Experience in event and/or tradeshow planning.
