Job summary

Kinkaid Civil Construction is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team. The role focuses on strengthening the Kinkaid brand, showcasing projects and people, and supporting recruiting and business development through compelling marketing materials and digital content.

The ideal candidate is creative, organized, and able to manage multiple projects while coordinating vendors and maintaining brand standards. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential for success.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, business development, communications, or related field.
  • Strong executional skills in social media, event coordination, and content creation.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms, website updates, and SEO strategy coordination.
  • Canva and InDesign proficiency preferred.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Heavy Civil, Construction, or AEC industry experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).

Responsibilities

  • Develop, create, and schedule engaging content across social media platforms.
  • Design and produce marketing materials including brochures, presentations, signage, advertisements, and other collateral.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and channels.
  • Coordinate & support capture of project stories, photography, and video content highlighting work and people.
  • Serve as a brand champion reflecting brand standards in communications, signage, apparel, and materials.
  • Coordinate with printers, photographers, videographers, and vendors to complete projects on time and on brand.
  • Track marketing initiatives and campaign performance; provide reports to leadership.
  • Assist with planning and executing company events, trade shows, and client events.
  • Assist with recruiting and business development through marketing materials and digital content.

Position Overview

Kinkaid Civil Construction is seeking a highly organized, creative, and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is responsible for supporting and executing marketing initiatives that strengthen the Kinkaid brand, showcase our projects and people, and support recruiting and business development efforts.

The ideal candidate is equal parts creative and organized—someone who enjoys designing compelling marketing materials while also managing multiple projects, coordinating vendors, and maintaining brand standards. Exceptional attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Brand
  • Develop, create, and schedule engaging content across social media platforms.
  • Design and produce marketing materials including brochures, presentations, signage, advertisements, flyers, proposals, and other brand collateral.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and communication channels.
  • Coordinate & support the capture of project stories, photography, and video content that highlight Kinkaid’s work, people, and capabilities.
  • Serve as a brand champion by helping ensure all company communications, signage, apparel, promotional items, and marketing materials consistently reflect Kinkaid’s brand standards.
Marketing Operations
  • Coordinate with printers, photographers, videographers, promotional vendors, and other external partners to ensure projects are completed on time and on brand.
  • Develop strategies to organize, track, and manage company apparel, promotional items, and corporate gifting programs.
  • Maintain marketing asset libraries, branded templates, photography, and digital files.
  • Track marketing initiatives and campaign performance, providing reports and insights to leadership.
Events & Business Support
  • Assist with planning and executing company events, trade shows, client events, community outreach opportunities, and industry conferences.
  • Support recruiting and business development efforts through marketing materials, branded collateral, and digital content.
  • Assist with special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, business development, communications, or a related field
  • Strong executional skills in social media, event coordination, and content creation.
  • Experience working with email marketing platforms, website updates, and SEO strategy coordination.
  • Proficiency in Canva and InDesign preferred.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects at once.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Heavy Civil, Construction, or AEC industry experience is a plus.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
