Job summary

A Blessing of Hope is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support development and execution of marketing strategies, strengthen brand presence, and promote programs and services. The role focuses on content development, digital marketing, social media management, and coordination of campaigns.

Under supervision, you will collaborate with leadership and internal departments to ensure accurate, professional branding and messaging.

Qualifications

Job Title: Marketing Coordinator Reports To: Chief Operations Officer Department: Human Resources Status: Part-Time Work Arrangement: Hybrid Pay Range:
42,000–45,000 annualized, paid on an hourly basis for hours worked.

Position Summary:

The Marketing Coordinator supports the development and execution of marketing strategies designed to increase awareness of A Blessing of Hope, LLC, strengthen the organization’s brand presence, and promote its programs and services.

This position is primarily responsible for marketing-related activities including content development, digital marketing, social media management, promotional materials, campaign coordination, brand consistency, and marketing performance tracking. The Marketing Coordinator will also represent A Blessing of Hope in professional and community settings, including meetings with DHHS personnel, referral sources, community agencies, networking events, and other public engagements.

Under the direction of the Human Resources Specialist, the Marketing Coordinator develops and coordinates marketing initiatives that communicate the organization’s mission, services, culture, and community impact. This position works collaboratively with Leadership and internal departments to ensure marketing efforts are accurate, professional, consistent, and aligned with organizational goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy & Campaign Development
  • Assist in developing and executing marketing strategies that increase awareness of A Blessing of Hope, LLC and its programs and services.
  • Develop and coordinate targeted marketing campaigns to increase visibility and support organizational growth.
  • Collaborate with the Human Resources Specialist and Management to identify marketing priorities, audiences, and opportunities.
  • Coordinate marketing campaigns from concept through implementation, including timelines, materials, communications, and follow-up.
  • Monitor marketing performance and engagement metrics and provide recommendations for improving reach and effectiveness.
  • Maintain an organized marketing calendar to coordinate campaigns, social media, events, communications, and promotional activities.
  • Research current marketing trends, community needs, and promotional opportunities relevant to the organization.
Content Development & Brand Management
  • Create professional marketing content for digital and print use, including flyers, brochures, newsletters, advertisements, presentations, informational materials, and promotional resources.
  • Develop written and visual content that communicates A Blessing of Hope’s mission, services, programs, culture, and community impact.
  • Maintain consistency in organizational branding, messaging, tone, and visual presentation across marketing materials.
  • Coordinate with Management and internal departments to ensure marketing content is accurate and appropriately represents the organization.
  • Assist with photography, video, graphic design, and other creative marketing projects as needed.
  • Maintain organized digital libraries of approved logos, graphics, templates, photographs, marketing materials, and other brand assets.
  • Assist with updating website content and other digital communication platforms as assigned.
Digital Marketing & Social Media
  • Manage and maintain the organization’s social media presence in coordination with the Human Resources Specialist and Management.
  • Develop, schedule, and publish engaging social media content that promotes services, programs, organizational activities, community involvement, and company culture.
  • Create content specifically designed to reach referral sources, DHHS personnel, community agencies, prospective clients, employees, and other relevant audiences.
  • Monitor social media engagement, reach, and other relevant performance indicators.
  • Identify opportunities to improve digital engagement, visibility, and audience growth.
  • Maintain an organized social media and content calendar.
  • Ensure all published content follows organizational branding, confidentiality requirements, and applicable policies.
Community & External Marketing
  • Represent A Blessing of Hope professionally at community events, agency meetings, networking functions, conferences, career fairs, and other approved public engagements.
  • Attend meetings and events with DHHS personnel, caseworkers, referral sources, community agencies, and other professional partners as assigned.
  • Promote A Blessing of Hope’s programs and services through professional presentations, informational materials, displays, and conversations.
  • Assist with identifying opportunities to increase organizational visibility within the communities and professional networks served by A Blessing of Hope.
  • Maintain professional relationships with external contacts that support the organization’s marketing and visibility goals.
  • Coordinate follow-up marketing communications and materials following community events, meetings, and outreach opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of marketing-related events, contacts, promotional activities, and follow-up efforts.
Event Marketing & Promotion
  • Assist with planning and promoting organizational events, community events, appreciation events, informational sessions, and other agency activities.
  • Develop promotional materials and communications for events, including flyers, social media content, invitations, signage, presentations, and other materials.
  • Coordinate marketing displays, promotional materials, branded items, and other resources for events.
  • Work with internal teams and Management to ensure events are appropriately promoted before, during, and after the event.
  • Represent A Blessing of Hope professionally at events and assist with capturing appropriate marketing content when permitted.
Marketing Administration & Reporting
  • Maintain organized records of marketing campaigns, content, promotional materials, community events, and marketing contacts.
  • Track marketing activity and performance to support evaluation of campaign effectiveness.
  • Prepare marketing updates, reports, and summaries for the Human Resources Specialist and Management as requested.
  • Maintain marketing files, templates, calendars, contact information, and other resources.
  • Monitor deadlines and ensure marketing projects are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Assist with maintaining an organized inventory of promotional and marketing materials.
  • Coordinate with vendors, printers, designers, photographers, and other external resources as approved.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of professional experience in marketing, communications, public relations, digital marketing, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience creating marketing materials and developing marketing content.
  • Experience with social media management and digital marketing platforms.
  • Experience with Canva and Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Experience with Google Workspace and other digital communication tools preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to create professional, engaging, and audience-appropriate content.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently while following direction and collaborating with Management and internal departments.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to represent A Blessing of Hope appropriately in public and professional settings.

Portfolio Requirement:

Candidates for this position will be required to provide a portfolio of marketing work for Management review as part of the hiring process.

Portfolios may include examples of marketing campaigns, social media content, advertisements, flyers, brochures, newsletters, presentations, digital content, branding projects, event promotions, or other relevant marketing work demonstrating the candidate’s experience and abilities.

Candidates may also provide examples of community or public-facing marketing initiatives when applicable.

Working Conditions:

This position operates in a professional office environment and is classified as a hybrid position, with a combination of remote and in-office work based on organizational needs and Management direction.

Regular travel may be required for marketing events, community events, agency meetings, networking opportunities, conferences, career fairs, meetings with DHHS personnel and referral sources, and other approved professional engagements.

The position may require occasional evening or weekend attendance at approved events.

Compensation:

The anticipated salary range for this position is $42-45,000 based on qualifications and relevant experience.
