The Larko Group is seeking a Marketing Coordinator in Chicago to help amplify our client's mission through compelling campaigns, strong writing, and engaging social content. The ideal candidate blends creativity with strategic thinking and can edit video assets for multiple channels.

You will execute email programs, manage social media calendars, draft promotional copy, edit video, and coordinate with teams to support events and programs.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of marketing experience; relevant coursework preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience launching and managing social media campaigns.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Adobe Creative Suite, and Informz/Higher Logic.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro video editing.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Execute all email marketing campaigns through Informz.
  • Draft and distribute post-program member surveys.
  • Create digital programs for company events.
  • Design promotional materials as needed.
  • Manage the organization-wide communications calendar.
  • Develop materials for upcoming programs, including graphics and decks.
  • Manage daily content and engagement across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Plan and manage social media campaigns.
  • Create photo and video compilations for future events and social media.
  • Manage the YouTube channel, including publishing content.
  • Monitor and support YouTube livestreams during high-profile events.
  • Create and monitor daily RSS feeds for the company and member-related news.
  • Track and report social media performance, KPIs, and progress toward goals using Google Analytics and Sprout Social.
  • Edit and post-produce high-quality program footage, publish it to YouTube promptly after events and as needed.
  • Use Adobe After Effects to support video production.
  • Create highlight clips from past programs for social media.
  • Produce promotional videos for programs, social media, and the member portal as needed.
  • Archive raw footage and final media projects.
  • Write and edit promotional copy for email announcements, the website, social media, and program materials, including speaker introductions and questions.
  • Coordinate with members who facilitate questions for the most notable speakers.
  • Attend all major company programs and support smaller meetings as needed.
  • Participate in weekly meetings with the Director of Marketing & Engagement.

The successful candidate will work closely with the team on the implementation of their communications strategy to their supporters, the business community, and the media.

  • Manage daily content and engagement across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Plan and manage social media campaigns.
  • Create photo and video compilations for future events and social media.
  • Manage the YouTube channel, including publishing content.
  • Monitor and support YouTube livestreams during high-profile events.
  • Create and monitor daily RSS feeds for the company and member-related news.
  • Track and report social media performance, KPIs, and progress toward goals using Google Analytics and Sprout Social.

Ideal Experience
