This entry-level role offers exposure to federal and utility clients, with guidance on CRM tools and proposal processes; travel is limited (<5%).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, architecture, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in Managing Social Media accounts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Adobe InDesign is a plus.
• Willingness to travel (<5% travel).

Responsabilités

• Support proposal development and data calls.
• Proofread/QC proposals; manage proposal calendar.
• Support business development and social media campaigns.
• Coordinate trade shows, booths, brochures, and registrations.
• Attend industry events to engage clients and partners.
• Perform other administrative duties as needed.

ZAPATA Group, Inc. is a full-service architecture and engineering company with operations throughout the Continental United States, supporting the Department of War, federal government, and private sector clients.ZAPATA is seeking a full-time Marketing Coordinator to support business development, marketing, and capture activities.

Position Summary:

ZAPATA is seeking an organized, energetic, and collaborative Marketing Coordinator to assist with marketing, proposal, social media, and business development activities for our architecture and engineering services. This entry-level position offers an opportunity to learn about federal and utility clients, including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, and the U.S. Air Force. The successful candidate will receive guidance as they learn to use customer relationship management software and other tools that support business development in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Support the development of Proposals.
  • Data call coordination
  • Data compilation (from data calls, other sources)
  • Word processing/layout
  • Set up meetings, notes/action items
  • Maintain Salesforce records.
  • Tracking progress of tasks assigned to proposal team members.
  • Proofread/QC/edit
  • Manage proposal calendar.
  • Other Administrative duties
• Support of Business Development
  • Developing and executing Social Media campaigns
  • Trade show coordination, including handling coordination for booth, giveaways, brochures, etc.
  • Coordinating and handling the registration process for shows and coordinating with staff attending
• Participating in industry events such as industry meetings and conferences to interact with clients and partners
• Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, architecture, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in Managing Social Media accounts
• Experienced in Microsoft Office applications (MSWord, Excel, Power Point, Teams, etc.)
• Experience with Adobe InDesign is a plus
• 2+ years’ work experience preferred, preferably in marketing, promotions, proposals, sales, or business development roles.
• Willingness to travel for business development and project assignments.(< 5% travel)
