University of California, Riverside is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support the School of Education’s marketing and communications activities. The role covers content creation, planning, measurement, copywriting, design, email marketing, web content, social media, digital advertising, photography, videography, and event planning.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, the Marketing Coordinator assists with all marketing and communications activities and events of the UCR School of Education (SOE), in support of its academic programs and its affiliated area groups. This role will assist with creative content, drafting of marketing and communication plans, measurement and analysis, copy writing, graphic design, email marketing, web content management, social media management, digital advertising, photography, videography, and event planning, promotion, and execution. Requires working occasional weekends and evenings for signature events. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of racial literacy given that UCR is an HSI and AANAPISI institution, situated in the Inland Empire. They will be able to align Marketing priorities with the SOE mission: The University of California, Riverside's School of Education, or SOE, is a nationally recognized school in a public research university that leverages its broad range of expertise to develop impactful partnerships, collaborations, and evidence-based resources fundamental for teaching, learning, and student success. This position is eligible for hybrid work. The full salary range for the Marketing Coordinator is $57,691.44 - $99,305.28 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $65,000 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.
Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations.
2 - 4 years of related experience.
