Kikoff is seeking a Marketing Compliance Lead who will own bilingual English and Spanish marketing compliance for a fast-growing fintech brand. You will build and own a scalable review system, partner with Legal, Marketing, and Engineering, and ensure disclosures match across languages.

You will lead AI-assisted review initiatives, maintain policies and playbooks, and shepherd fast campaigns while upholding regulatory standards such as UDAAP, Reg Z, ECOA, and CAN-SPAM.

Qualifikationen

• Full professional fluency in Spanish and English, able to review and guide compliant financial marketing copy in both languages.
• 6+ years in compliance, legal, or regulatory review in consumer financial services.
• Experience owning a marketing review function or program, with high-volume reviews.
• Experience driving automation of a review process and familiarity with AI tooling.
• Urgency mindset and ability to meet launch deadlines with clear guidance.

About the Role

Kikoff's growth depends on marketing that moves fast and connects with our customers. At the same time, our marketing must be accurate, substantiated, properly disclosed, and approved. Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you will be the person who makes both happen in English and in Spanish.

This is not just a reviewer seat. We are hiring a builder and owner of marketing compliance and a shared system of record with AI-assisted review that will keep pace with the speedy marketing team. You will lead that build.

What You'll Do

• Own marketing compliance end to end by enforcing the standards, review, claims substantiation, records, monitoring, and tooling and set the roadmap for it with the Head of Compliance.
• Review consumer-facing material in English and Spanish across channels, including paid social and search, email and SMS, landing pages and web, in-app and onboarding flows, app store listings, direct mail, affiliate and influencer content, customer support guidance, and partner collateral.
• Review Spanish creative on its own terms, ensuring disclosures are equivalent in meaning and prominence to their English counterparts and that legal terminology is rendered correctly rather than literally.
• Take the lead on developing Kikoff's AI-assisted marketing review capability and partner with Legal, Marketing, and Engineering to build it, including the ground truth it depends on and how it is evaluated before it is trusted.
• Maintain the policies, procedures, risk tiering, disclosure standards, and channel playbooks, and keep review records to satisfy examiners, auditors, and bank partners.

What We're Looking For

• Full professional fluency in Spanish and English, with the ability to review, edit, and give written compliance guidance on financial marketing copy in both. This is a working requirement of the role, assessed in an interview.
• 6+ years in compliance, legal, or regulatory review in consumer financial services, including 4+ years directly reviewing and approving consumer marketing and advertising at a bank, fintech, lender, or similarly regulated consumer brand.
• Experience owning a marketing review function or program, not just a queue. Demonstrated high-volume review at speed, and the ability to speak to how you kept quality from slipping as throughput goes up.
• Experience driving automation of a review process and the appetite to specify AI tooling; having built or configured AI-assisted review, claims checking, or marketing monitoring yourself is a significant plus.
• A strong sense of urgency. You treat the launch date as a real constraint, and you would rather give a clear answer today with the caveat attached than a perfect one after the campaign has shipped.
• Working command of the advertising rule set: UDAAP, TILA/Reg Z advertising and trigger terms, ECOA/Reg B, FCRA advertising and prescreen, FTC endorsement guides and substantiation expectations, TCPA, and CAN-SPAM.
• Excellent written communication in both languages, and the ability to influence without authority.

We're Also Looking For

• Credit-building, credit reporting, or subscription financial product experience; managing a bank partner's marketing approval process; fair lending exposure in advertising and audience targeting; or hands-on use of marketing compliance monitoring platforms such as PerformLine, any of these is a plus.
• CRCM, CIPP/US, or a JD is a plus and not required.

Compensation

Base salary is location-based and will be determined by factors including market location, experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to competitive cash compensation, this role is eligible for equity and a comprehensive benefits package.

Base Range

$115,000 - $170,000 USD
