Job Title: Community Outreach & Events Coordinator

Department: Marketing
Reports To:Marketing Director
Status:Full-Time | Non-Exempt

Position Summary:

The Community Outreach & Events Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing community engagement initiatives and events that promote the clinic’s services, mission, and visibility. This position works closely with the Marketing team to support brand awareness and educational efforts through external events, health fairs, partnerships, and internal campaigns.

This role requires a high level of organization, creativity, and interpersonal communication, as well as the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and provide support for events that may occur outside of regular business hours, including evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute internal and external events, including community health fairs, sponsorship events, school partnerships, and clinic-hosted activities.
  • Represent the clinic professionally at all community events and serve as a brand ambassador.
  • Assist the Marketing team with the creation and distribution of promotional materials for events.
  • Support internal marketing campaigns related to clinic services, events, and community initiatives.
  • Manage event logistics, including setup and teardown, vendor coordination, materials inventory, and on-site support.
  • Track event performance, attendance, and engagement, and provide post-event reports.
  • Maintain event calendar and ensure appropriate staffing and coverage.
  • Help coordinate clinic participation in charitable drives, seasonal campaigns, and educational programming.
  • Regularly transport promotional items and materials to and from event locations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in event coordination, marketing, or community outreach; healthcare experience a plus.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable speaking to groups and engaging with the public.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Canva or other design tools a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical event setup.
  • Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a healthcare or nonprofit setting.
  • Familiarity with social media and email marketing platforms.
