Unika Health is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing & Communications Specialist to support the development of internal and external communications, educational materials, and marketing assets. This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play an important role in strengthening Unika Health’s brand presence and engagement. This is a hybrid and part-time position based in Sunnyvale, California. Candidates are expected to work from the Sunnyvale office at least three days per week.
Develop patient education materials and bilingual resources.
Create provider-facing presentations, flyers, brochures, and one-pagers.
Support internal training materials and educational resources.
Prepare internal newsletters and communication materials.
Assist with graphic design, branding, and visual content creation.
Create and manage content for social media and digital channels.
Support marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives.
Organize and maintain marketing templates and assets.
Collaborate with operations, clinical, and business development teams on cross-functional projects.
Assist with special projects and other marketing and communications activities as needed.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Journalism, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, content creation, or graphic design preferred.
Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
Proficiency with Canva, PowerPoint, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
Healthcare industry experience is a plus, but not required.
Ability to read and write Chinese is required to support bilingual patient and provider materials.
Experience producing educational, healthcare, or consumer-facing content is a plus.
Passion for improving patient experiences and health education.
Strong visual design sense and attention to detail.
