    This position is remote (work from home). Candidates can reside anywhere in the continental US. Residence within 100 miles of Chicago is preferred. Limited travel to customer sites or meetings may be required (about 2 days/month on average).

    We are looking for a part-time marketing and communications manager to help maintain and execute our marketing plan. The ideal candidate should be creative, organized, technical, and an excellent communicator.

    Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan short-term and long-term marketing strategies and annual budgets
  2. Manage and execute marketing initiatives, primarily online efforts
  3. Measure and report on marketing performance and identify improvement opportunities
  4. Refine value propositions and calls to action for various customer segments
  5. Implement strategies to attract website visitors and generate leads
  6. Support the sales team with marketing materials such as collateral, case studies, presentations, and proposals
  7. Create and publish content for social media, blogs, articles, and press releases
  8. Organize events like user group meetings, client meetings, and trade shows
  9. Prepare communications for external and internal stakeholders
  10. Conduct online events to enhance product usage among existing customers and promote new product purchases

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, journalism, healthcare, or a related communications field
  2. At least 6 years of marketing experience, including 4 years in healthcare revenue cycle or compliance software, with expertise in healthcare denials or audits
  3. Self-motivated with success in entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and dynamic environments
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze metrics and prepare reports
  5. Creative problem-solving abilities
  6. Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and vendors
  7. Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills
  8. Effective time management and ability to prioritize multiple opportunities
  9. Strong project management and organizational skills
  10. Knowledge of current online marketing concepts, strategies, KPIs, and best practices
  11. Basic webmaster and SEO skills
