Current UPike student eligible for Federal Work Study will create social media content, assist with graphics, and help update the website. The paid internship is onsite near UPike with a flexible, mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Current University of Pikeville student in good standing with eligibility for Federal Work Study.
• Interest in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related fields.
• Strong writing and creative communication abilities for branding and storytelling.
• Experience with social media, design software is helpful but not required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and schedule engaging social media content to amplify the mission.
• Capture photo and video content at events to document impact.
• Assist in development and execution of marketing campaigns and promotions.
• Develop flyers, slides, and collateral that align with brand standards.
• Support email communications and website updates for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with team to share compelling stories of transformation and growth.
• Track basic engagement metrics and report findings to leadership.
• Perform other duties to support a growing nonprofit platform.
