Responsibilities

• Communicate with prospective agents via telephone to identify their interest in an appointment with BHHC.
• Craft marketing messages to inform and sell prospective agents on benefits of partnering with BHHC.
• Use internal data to understand market, BHHC product offering, and potential areas of growth.
• Acquire market intelligence via phone conversations with prospective agents, team meetings, interface with Field Marketing Representatives, and industry publications.
• Assist Agency Unit with application process and follow up with prospective agencies for completeness.
• Perform other marketing duties as assigned.

Duties in the Marketing Communications Department include:

• Communicate with prospective agents via telephone to identify their interest in an appointment with BHHC.
• Craft marketing messages to inform and sell prospective agents on benefits of partnering with BHHC.
• Use internal data to understand market, BHHC product offering, and potential areas of growth.
• Acquire market intelligence via phone conversations with prospective agents, team meetings, interface with Field Marketing Representatives, and industry publications.

• Perform other marketing duties as assigned.

During this internship, the student will gain:

• Confidence in collaborating with diverse people.
• Knowledge of fundamental principles of insurance including commercial auto and property.
• Knowledge of Marketing Department operations.
