Marketing & Communications InternOverviewThe Supplier Diversity Office (SDO), an agency within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Executive Office for Administration and Finance, is seeking a Marketing & Communications Intern to support the day-to-day work of the SDO’s Marketing and Communications team.
This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in communications, social media, graphic design, and content development while supporting the SDO’s mission of serving diverse and small businesses throughout the Commonwealth.
The intern will work closely with the SDO’s Communications Director and collaborate with staff across the agency to develop engaging, audience-focused communications. Responsibilities will include creating and scheduling social media content, designing flyers and other promotional materials in Canva, and drafting and reviewing a variety of communications, including internal messages, newsletter content, and other outreach materials.
About the Supplier Diversity OfficeThe Supplier Diversity Office works to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in state contracting by supporting diverse and small businesses and connecting them with opportunities to do business with the Commonwealth.
The SDO certifies eligible minority-owned, women-owned, veteran-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, disability-owned, LGBT-owned, and small businesses and works with Commonwealth agencies to advance supplier diversity.
