Sky Spy Inc. is seeking an experienced Marketing & Communications Director for a part‑time to full‑time role. You will define strategy and drive execution across content, PR, advertising, events and partner campaigns to strengthen visibility and support growth.

This hands‑on role involves working with the CEO and cross‑functional teams to translate complex technology into clear communications, managing contractors, and potentially building an in‑house team as Sky Spy scales.

• 5+ years of experience in marketing and communications, with strategy and execution responsibility.
• Experience marketing complex technical products.
• Able to turn marketing strategy into campaigns and measurable results.
• Track record of campaigns with international attention, media coverage and strong audience engagement.
• Hands-on across social media, content, PR, advertising and events.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Established network of media contacts in technology/business publications.
• Excellent writing, editing and fluent professional English.
• Self-directed, organized and able to prioritize in a fast-moving startup.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute Sky Spy’s marketing and communications strategy with priorities, budget and measurable objectives.
• Refine company positioning, messaging and brand identity across external communications.
• Manage content planning and production for social media, leadership profiles and the website blog.
• Lead PR and media relations, coordinating press releases, interviews and media coverage.
• Plan presence at exhibitions and industry events, including stand design, suppliers and materials.
• Collaborate with partners on joint campaigns, announcements and events.
• Brief and manage contractors producing photos, videos, graphics and other assets.
• Coordinate website updates and product-related materials with BD and product teams.
• Track campaign performance, media coverage and inbound interest to optimize activity.

Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Marketing & Communications Director to lead Sky Spy’s marketing and communications on a part‑time basis. You will define our strategy and drive execution across content, PR, advertising, events, and partner campaigns to strengthen our visibility and support commercial growth.

This is a hands‑on role with a high level of ownership. You will work directly with the CEO and closely with business development, product, and engineering teams to turn complex technology into clear, compelling communications. You will manage specialist contractors and agencies, with the opportunity to build an in‑house team as the company grows.

Location — Remote (Europe). Engagement - Part‑time to full‑time

Candidates should be based in Europe and available for occasional travel. The weekly commitment will be agreed based on availability and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Sky Spy’s marketing and communications strategy, including priorities, budget, and measurable objectives.
• Refine company positioning, messaging, and brand identity, ensuring consistency across external communications.
• Manage content planning and production for company social media, leadership profiles, and the website blog.
• Lead PR and media relations, building relationships with journalists and coordinating press releases, interviews, announcements, and media coverage.
• Plan Sky Spy’s presence at exhibitions and industry events, including stand design and production, suppliers, marketing materials, and event promotion.
• Work with partners on joint campaigns, announcements, events, and co‑branded content.
• Brief and manage contractors and agencies producing photos, videos, graphics, merchandise, and other company assets.
• Coordinate website updates.
• Work with business development and product teams to create product briefs, case studies, presentations, and other materials that support customer engagement.
• Track campaign performance, media coverage, audience growth, and qualified inbound interest, using results to improve marketing activity and spending.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in marketing and communications, including responsibility for strategy and execution.
• Experience marketing complex technical products.
• Proven ability to develop a marketing strategy and turn it into practical plans, campaigns, and measurable results.
• Track record of creating standout campaigns that earned international attention, media coverage, and strong audience engagement.
• Hands‑on experience across social media, content, PR, advertising, and events.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Established network of media contacts in technology, business, or relevant industry publications.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with fluent professional English.
• Self‑directed, organized, and comfortable prioritizing competing needs in a fast‑moving startup.
