Job summary

HIKE2 is seeking a Senior Marketing Cloud Developer to lead design and delivery of Marketing Cloud Engagement and Data 360 initiatives. You will guide data models, journeys, integrations, and activation strategies while ensuring quality, privacy, and cost efficiency.

You will implement and troubleshoot Journeys, Automation Studio, AMPscript, SSJS, and SQL; integrate with CRM and external systems; and mentor teams on best practices for real‑time and AI‑driven engagement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement development.
• 2+ years Data 360 (Data Cloud) with at least one production delivery.
• Proficiency in AMPscript, SSJS, and SQL; able to test and troubleshoot.
• Experience integrating MC with CRM and external systems via Marketing Cloud Connect and APIs.
• Understanding data quality, consent, deliverability, and privacy regulations.
• Experience guiding requirements with clients and turning them into builds.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled personalization features.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design for Marketing Cloud Engagement and Data 360 projects.
• Build and troubleshoot journeys, processes, and dynamic content using AMPscript/SSJS/SQL.
• Configure Data 360 data streams, mapping, and identity resolution.
• Integrate Marketing Cloud with Salesforce CRM and external systems via APIs.
• Set engineering expectations: testing, validation, and deployment practices.
• Advise on personalization strategy and real‑time engagement priorities.
• Contribute to discovery, estimates, and user stories; manage risks.
• Create reusable patterns and assets from engagements.
