  • Conceptualize and develop original visual solutions that support institutional marketing strategy, enrollment goals, and audience engagement.
  • Lead creative direction and visual execution for integrated marketing campaigns and high-visibility institutional initiatives.
  • Exercise independent judgment in the interpretation and application of University brand standards, visual identity, typography, layout, and storytelling approaches.
  • Design and oversee the development of marketing and communications materials across digital, print, web, social media, advertising, and recruitment platforms.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Communications leadership to translate strategic priorities into compelling creative concepts and audience-focused messaging.
  • Help define, evolve, and maintain the University’s visual identity, design systems, and brand consistency across channels and audiences.
  • Evaluate creative effectiveness and recommend design approaches that strengthen engagement, user experience, and campaign performance.
  • Manage multiple concurrent creative projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards for quality, innovation, and timeliness.
  • Provide creative guidance and coordination with internal collaborators and external vendors to ensure alignment with institutional objectives and brand standards.
  • Preferred experience with photography and media production, including capturing and editing visual content to support marketing, brand, social media, and recruitment initiatives.

Job description

Position Summary

The Marketing & Brand Designer is responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and executing creative strategies and visual communications that advance the University’s brand, enrollment, engagement, and institutional priorities. This role exercises independent judgment and creative discretion in translating marketing strategy and institutional messaging into compelling visual concepts and integrated campaign materials across digital and print platforms. Working under the direction of the Director of Marketing & Digital Experience and in close collaboration with Communications, this position leads the creative development of high-visibility campaigns and institutional initiatives while helping shape and maintain the University’s visual identity and brand standards.

Work Hours

The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Employees are expected to work within the core hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings, and may be required to work overtime.
