Job summary

Sunoco LP is seeking a driven, hands-on Marketing Intern to support our Consumer Marketing, B2B and loyalty programs. You will work with marketing stakeholders, external agencies, and account management to develop promotions and communications.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an undergrad/grad program with strong writing, Excel/PowerPoint skills, and a detail-oriented approach in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
• Understanding of consumer marketing and/or communications practices preferred
• Attention to detail is a must
• Must possess excellent writing, communication, presentation and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with occasionally tight deadlines
• Self-motivated individual with a high personal standard of excellence who can work independently
• Involvement in activities outside college studies
• Above average GPA

Responsibilities

• Assist with promotions to support key consumer marketing initiatives such as Sunoco Go Rewards and Ultratech Quality Fuels
• Support marketing leadership with the roll out of consumer engagement activations across key sponsorships such as NASCAR
• Support B2B team in the development of marketing materials, such as web content and direct mail, to support the growth of Sunoco LP’s fuel distribution network
• Support project plans for the Go Rewards fuel loyalty program and partnerships
• Work cross-functionally with Sunoco’s Business Development and Account Management team to collaborate on program communication and roll out
