Job summary

VCBO Architecture is seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our Salt Lake City team. This hands-on role supports a range of activities from content creation to events, campaigns, and day-to-day marketing initiatives, collaborating with designers and staff across the firm to tell VCBO’s story and drive business development.

You'll grow marketing experience in the AEC industry while contributing to proposals, presentations, and ongoing marketing efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English or related field preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
• Experience with social media platforms and creating content for digital or print communications.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate marketing projects and campaigns from concept through completion with internal teams, external partners, and vendors.
• Plan and support conferences, milestones, events, firm events, and other marketing initiatives.
• Create and coordinate marketing content including social media, website content, presentations, brochures, mailers, and award submissions.
• Support proposals and pursuit materials by coordinating with project teams and gathering relevant information.
• Help maintain VCBO's website, intranet, CRM data, and other marketing platforms and resources.
• Coordinate project photography, branded materials, and promotional items.
• Provide general support to the marketing team and assist with special projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborative proactive and comfortable working with different teams and stakeholders across the firm
• Experience with content management systems CMS customer relationship management CRM software or project management tools is a plus
