Job summary

The University of New Mexico KNME Operations team is seeking a Marketing Assistant student to help produce monthly video content in Albuquerque. You will support the Sr. Promotions Producer with interstitial content and social media reels.

You’ll also assist with tagging promos, creating billboards, and developing brand visuals in a graphic design capacity. This position offers hands-on exposure to public media operations and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop).
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication; meets deadlines.
• Basic PBS knowledge.
• Weekly availability during 8a–5p business hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sr. Promotions Producer with interstitial content and promo reels.
• Upload social media versions of promos and tag promos.
• Create billboards and assist with brand visuals, including graphic design.
• Handle other duties as assigned.

We’re looking for an outgoing, detailed-oriented student to assist inproducing monthly video content.

Assist the Sr. Promotions Producer with station interstitial content (including uploading social media versions of promo reels, tagging promos, and creating billboards).Assisting with production of NMPBS brand visuals, especially through graphic design.

Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (especially Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, and Photoshop).
• Candidates should also have excellent attention to detail, good time management and communication skills, and the ability to adhere to strict deadlines.
• A basic knowledge of PBS is desired.
• Weekly availability during regular business hours (8a-5p)
