Job summary

OrthoMed Anesthesia in Addison, TX is seeking a motivated Marketing Assistant to support our growing marketing team. This full-time, on-site role offers hands-on experience across content creation, social media, event coordination, and brand management within a healthcare setting.

You'll report to the Marketing & Communications Specialist and contribute to material development, social campaigns, conferences, and market research while maintaining calendars and assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field (or currently pursuing).
• 0–2 years of experience in marketing, social media, or communications.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and basic analytics.
• Proficiency in Canva; experience with Adobe Creative Suite or Mailchimp is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the creation and scheduling of social media content across LinkedIn, Instagram, and other platforms.
• Support the development of marketing materials including email campaigns, newsletters, rack cards, and event collateral.
• Assist with logistics and coordination for conferences, trade shows, and clinician engagement events.
• Conduct market research to support recruiting campaigns and business development initiatives.
• Monitor and compile social media performance metrics and engagement reports.
• Manage employee mailouts and other external touchpoints with prospective employees.
• Maintain inventory merchandise and other branding-related materials.
• Maintain organized digital asset libraries, branded inventory, and content calendars.
• Provide general administrative support to the marketing team as needed.

About the Role

OrthoMed Anesthesia is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support our growing marketing department. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their marketing career who wants hands‑on experience across content creation, social media, event coordination, and brand management — all within a fast‑paced, mission‑driven healthcare organization. This full‑time, on‑site position is based at our corporate office in Addison, TX and reports directly to the Marketing & Communications Specialist.
