Toole Design in Columbus, OH is seeking a Marketing and Communications Writer to shape our stories for clients and communities. You'll craft newsletters, webpages, video scripts, and social posts, translating complex transportation projects into clear, engaging writing.

Collaborate with planners and engineers on national projects, ensure brand consistency, and support digital marketing using Mailchimp, Squarespace, WordPress, Google Analytics, and CRM tools.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, English, journalism, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years writing and editing public-facing content
• Experience with defined brand and style guidelines
• Proficiency with email platforms, social schedulers, website CMS, analytics and CRM systems

What You'll Do

You'll write across a variety of formats, from newsletters and webpages to video scripts and social media. On the corporate side, you'll work collaboratively to plan and produce content that shows who we are and what we do. On client projects, you'll work alongside planners and engineers on transportation projects across the country, shaping communications strategy and turning technical ideas into clear, engaging writing for public audiences and decision-makers. Whatever the task, you'll make sure every piece is clear, polished, and on message.

What You Bring:

• A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, English, journalism, or similar relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• 4+ years of hands-on experience writing and editing public-facing content
• Experience working within a defined brand and style
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools including email platforms (Mailchimp), social media schedulers (Agorapulse, Meta Business Suite), website platforms (Squarespace, Wordpress), analytics (Google Analytics), and CRM systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• A collaborative approach to generating strategies and developing creative solutions

We are targeting a salary range of $63,000 to $75,000 for this position.
