Marketing & Communications Project Manager for Centro Latino

Brief Description:

The Marketing & Communication Project Manager provides operational, technical, and logistical support to Centro Latino Graduate Programs and Professional Certificates, in coordination with Admissions, and leads communications and marketing efforts for Centro Latino’s academic and non-academic programs, initiatives, and events. This role supports the administration of Learning Management System (LMS) platforms, manages the production of virtual recruitment events, oversees Professional Certificates recruitment workflows, and develops marketing materials consistent with Centro Latino’s and Fuller Seminary’s vision, messaging, and brand identity. Additionally, this position is responsible for managing Centro Latino’s social media accounts and coordinating content across various multimedia communication channels to strengthen engagement, visibility, and outreach.

Duties and responsibilities include coordinating with the Fuller EQUIP department to ensure the efficient operation of Professional Certificate programs and serving as a liaison between Centro Latino and Fuller Seminary’s Strategic Communications department. The ability to multitask effectively, organize and communicate clearly, manage complex schedules, and provide administrative support is essential for this position. The ideal candidate is resourceful, organized, and an effective problem solver, with the ability to strategically design marketing protocols, resources, and processes that support Centro Latino’s communication and outreach goals. Ensuring the timely and consistent completion of work is key to success in this position.

Essential Functions:

Centro Latino Marketing and Communications (40%):

  • Enhance and maintain Centro Latino's marketing and communications strategy and infrastructure, including social media presence and email marketing strategy (Mailchimp, Meta Business Suite, YouTube).
  • Produce communications copy materials related to Centro Latino, including web copy, video/graphic marketing content, and program promotional materials.
  • Provide feedback to official Fuller communications related to Centro Latino to ensure consistency with Centro Latino values and relevance to Latino/a and Hispanic audiences.
  • Produce Centro Latino promotional materials, such as one-sheets, presentations, printed materials, and website content, that is consistent with Centro Latino and Fuller Seminary’s branding guidelines (Adobe Express, Canva, or similar)
  • Serve as liaison to Fuller EQUIP, coordinating the creation of payment links for learners to support recruitment efforts, coordinating the creation of webpages on the EQUIP website, and providing feedback on the effectiveness of EQUIP platforms.
  • Provide technical assistance for virtual masterclasses, webinars, and panels via Zoom, including tech checks and Zoom operations.
  • Archive event recordings, photos, and videos and upload materials to institutional repositories (Google Drive).
  • Travel to campus as needed for staff retreats and graduation events to manage recording and testimonial documentation.

Professional Certificates Support (35%):

  • Participate in the curriculum and pedagogical design of Professional Certificate programs, in coordination with faculty and program leads.
  • Administer and populate course sites across Learning Management Systems (Moodle and Articulate 360), including maintaining course materials and resources.
  • Coordinate with the administrative assistant to resolve learner tech support needs related to payment processing and LMS platform access.
  • Coordinate multi-stakeholder workflows to recruit and onboard religious leaders into collaborative learning cohorts, including creating interest and application forms.
  • Create and maintain an integrated database of Professional Certificates participants.
  • Update the Centro Latino Professional Certificates website and create new web pages as new programs are launched (Wordpress).
  • Provide insight to the Director of Centro Latino regarding participants' recruitment and program experiences.

Administrative and Other Operations (25%):

  • Track project payment processes, coordinate vendor relationships, and negotiate and manage vendor contracts related to marketing and media production, including photography, video production, editing, and e-blast services.
  • Upload and organize invoices for digital operations expenses—including social media advertising, software subscriptions, and hosting/domain renewal fees to Google Drive for recordkeeping.
  • Provide ad hoc support for in-person recruitment events, including tabling and travel, as requested by the Admissions Counselor, supplementing the core admissions and recruitment functions.
  • Participate in Centro Latino staff meetings and coordination meetings related to communications, marketing, and Professional Certificate partnerships.
  • Create reports on the effectiveness of social media platforms and the impact of marketing initiatives, as needed, using relevant engagement and performance metrics.
  • Design and implement recruitment campaigns in collaboration with the Admissions team to support enrollment goals for Centro Latino programs and Professional Certificates.
  • Design, administer, and analyze surveys for current students and graduates to gather feedback and insights that can inform marketing, communications, recruitment, and outreach initiatives.
  • Create and maintain Professional Certificate recruitment and program reports, using relevant data to assess effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; graduate theological experience preferred
  • Spanish and English fluency (verbal and written) required
  • Recruitment/communications experience highly desirable
  • 2 to 3 years of experience working in an educational environment
  • Experience administering Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle, Articulate 360) required
  • Experience with virtual event production and platforms (e.g., Zoom) required
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work effectively as a member of a team as well as independently
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, highly diversified environment
  • Proficiency with Google Workplace
  • Knowledge of graphic design software or platform is preferred
  • Knowledge of managing social media accounts is necessary.
  • Basic knowledge of WordPress and website editing
  • Experience coordinating vendor relationships, contracts, and payment processes
  • Ability to coordinate activities of a complex nature, exercise independent judgment, sustain high levels of productivity, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to travel and be flexible
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Must be a team player

ADDITIONAL REMARKS:

  • Reports to theDirector of Centro Latino
  • Hourly rate the seminary expects to pay: $25.00 per hour USD
