Job summary

Bryant Christie Inc. in Salem, Oregon, is seeking a Marketing and Communications Coordinator for a full-time, office-based role reporting to the Director of Association Management. The position supports campaigns, client communications, events, and industry outreach.

The role requires strong writing, design skills, event coordination, and willingness to travel; experience with associations or agricultural programs is a plus. Travel is expected both in-state and out-of-state.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of relevant marketing, communications, creative production, or program coordination experience
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate client goals into effective marketing campaigns and materials
  • Design or creative experience (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar tools) strongly preferred; a portfolio of relevant work is a plus
  • Event coordination experience, including travel logistics preferred
  • Comfort in public speaking roles
  • Familiarity with AI use for writing and creative projects
  • Experience with agenda/minute taking and document preparation
  • Professional demeanor and comfort working with executive-level stakeholders
  • Prior experience supporting associations, nonprofits, or public sector organizations a plus
  • Background or interest in agriculture a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns and events such as trade shows, conventions, and other commission activities
  • Design and produce creative collateral such as presentations, brochures, magazines, and other client-facing materials
  • Coordinate the development of industry communication pieces such as newsletters, flyers, and meeting materials
  • Help organize industry conferences, conventions, and trade shows, including coordinating booth displays and signage, managing subcontractors, overseeing speakers/presentations and their A/V requirements (A/V itself is outsourced)
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and follow-up on marketing and communication activities from agricultural commission meetings
  • Assist Deputy Director, Association Management with compilation and assembly of industry research booklets
  • Maintain organized records, correspondence, and client documentation
  • Support preparation of reports, program updates, and compliance documents
  • Assist with the coordination of client meeting logistics including scheduling, venue arrangements, and materials
  • Attend client meetings and events (in-state and out-of-state travel required)
  • Interface professionally with clients, industry stakeholders, and government agencies

BCI Management, LLC (BCIM) is seeking a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our team in Salem, Oregon. BCIM provides association management services to agricultural commissions, trade associations, and related industry groups. This is a full-time, office-based position that will report to the Director of Association Management.

Position Overview

The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will administer and support marketing and communications activities for the company’s client commissions. This role is ideal for a creative professional with strong critical-thinking skills who enjoys multitasking, developing marketing campaigns and point-of-sale materials, representing client commissions at trade shows, conventions and industry events, communicating with agricultural commissions and their grower representatives, and contributing to the overall success of agricultural programs in Oregon. Travel is expected as part of this role.

Key Responsibilities Include

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $70,000 – $80,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
