Job summary

NinjaHoldings is seeking an Intern to join our Marketing Analytics team in Chicago for a May–August 2027 internship. The role focuses on data pipeline work, SQL/Python analysis, and dashboard enhancements to inform cross-functional testing and optimization.

The ideal candidate is pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with strong SQL, Python, and communication skills. This is a hybrid role with in-office 2x/week at our downtown Chicago HQ.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Strong SQL and Python for data extraction and analysis.
• Experience with data visualization and dashboard tools.
• Ability to write queries with joins, aggregations, subqueries, CTEs and window functions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor key funnel metrics through reports and dashboards to track channel performance, diagnose deviations, and surface root-cause insights.
• Use SQL and Python to analyze funnel trends, quantify drop-off drivers, and provide recommendations to optimize.
• Communicate findings in a clear, concise way to stakeholders.
• Assist in updating and maintaining DBT data models in Snowflake to streamline reporting.
• Help enhance Periscope dashboards by adding new charts and metrics to improve visibility across the marketing funnel.
• Partner with Marketing, Risk, and Engineering to implement strategy changes, monitor releases, and conduct post-release impact analysis.

Internship Summary

NinjaHoldings is seeking an Intern to join our Marketing Analytics team, partnering with Marketing and senior analytics experts. You’ll support the data pipeline—updating Snowflake data models, assisting with Periscope dashboard builds and automations, and using SQL/Python to analyze funnel performance and identify drop-off drivers. Your insights will help inform clear, data-driven recommendations for leadership and guide cross-functional testing and optimizations.

When: May-August 2027

Location: Hybrid, downtown Chicago HQ (in-office 2x/week). Candidates must be local or able to relocate independently - relocation assistance is not provided.

Schedule: 40 hours/week

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong ability to write queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. Must be comfortable with joins, aggregations, subqueries, CTEs, and window functions.
• Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills with key attention to detail
