Job summary

KeyBank’s Internship Program offers a 10.5-week experience in which interns work on data-driven projects that support Key’s business strategy. The program includes mentorship, learning labs, and cross-team networking to help bridge internships into full-time opportunities.

Interns will conduct data queries, analyze large datasets, and prepare both recurring and ad hoc reports. Strong quantitative coursework, leadership, and Excel/PowerPoint skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must have completed at least two years toward a four-year undergraduate degree with coursework in quantitative disciplines.
• Outstanding academic achievement (minimum undergraduate 3.0 GPA).
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork from past work experience and/or extracurricular activities.
• Bring solid analytical, problem solving, communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Execute basic diagnostics testing under supervision (e.g. performance testing, assumption verification and impacts of limitations).
• Tests, under supervision, suitability / sufficiency for approach (e.g. representativeness).
• Provide input with addressing basic business/analytical problems and challenges

What does our Internship Program offer?

Key's Enterprise Internship is a 10.5-week program that provides meaningful work that matters, offers feedback and coaching, and creates engaging events and conversations that will spark excitement and interest in bringing one's full-time career to Key.

Interns are involved in a host of line of business specific projects that directly impact and benefit Key's business and strategic pillars. The program includes networking with Key teammates across all levels of the organization, a series of Learning Labs where internal and external speakers provide insight on Key's competitive landscape, financial wellness, and professional development best practices, and an assigned mentor who shares knowledge, experience, and advice.

• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork from past work experience and/or extracurricular activities
• Bring solid analytical, problem solving, communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

KeyBank's Internship and Analyst positions are not eligible for employment visa sponsorship (e.g., H-1B visa). COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Compensation and Benefits This position is eligible to earn an hourly rate of $25 per hour. Compensation also includes a $2,000.00 Summer Internship Sign-on Bonus.
