Overview of Responsibilities

Collects, organizes, analyzes, and reports marketing and business performance data to support MSGCU’s growth strategies. Uses available data sources and analytical skills to identify new business and marketing opportunities to optimize acquisition efforts and strengthen member relationships. Provides strategic insights to enhance MSGCU’s competitive position and prepare for future opportunities.

  • Marketing Data Management Platform: Serves as subject matter expert (SME) for MSGCU’s Marketing Data Management Platform and related software. Ensures complete and effective utilization of the systems. Runs queries as needed and validates the database regularly. Uses credit union and industry data sources to effectively supplement and enhance the platform and the marketing programs that rely on its data.
  • Performance Reporting and Analysis: Maintains regular reporting processes to monitor campaign performance, brand health, and member referral metrics. Utilizes data to guide marketing programs and develop key performance indicators (KPI) for campaigns and promotions to analyze results quantitatively and qualitatively. Aggregates results from paid, earned, and owned channels to provide reports on marketing activities. Collaborates with campaign lead to assess performance, draw conclusions, and recommend optimizations. Partners with stakeholders to develop dashboards for marketing initiatives, promotional programs, and campaign tracking.
  • Audience Targeting & Market Research: Engages in high-level primary and secondary research to support marketing strategies and corporate decisions on brand awareness and positioning, service enhancements, product offerings, and fee structure. Develops targeted audiences using first- and third-party data. Works with campaign leads to define prospect segments and uses modeling techniques to refine targeting. Supports member segmentation strategies and associated member journeys for content development, marketing automation, predictive analytics, and member onboarding and re-boarding. Collaborates with marketing colleagues to develop relationship nurturing programs.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinates with vendors for marketing-related systems and collaborates with third parties to gather external insights and data. Partners with stakeholders to optimize communications, test scenarios, and deployment strategies. Implements and maintains processes to track leads from initial engagement to conversion to measure campaign effectiveness. Assists with special projects as needed, including seeking new data sources or visualization methods. Collaborates with IT or other stakeholders and fulfills unique requests related to data, reporting and research.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or other related required; and
  • 3 years of experience in a Marketing Analyst role, including experience administering, managing, and preparing reports from a Marketing Data Management and/or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform.
  • Experience with financial services and Google Analytics preferred.
Working Conditions
  • Office and branch location environment with little discomfort from noise, extreme temperature, dust, or other factors.
  • Occasionally required to travel throughout MSGCU's service area as business needs require.
  • Exposed to potentially hazardous conditions, such as robbery. Receives detailed instructions and security procedures on an annual basis to minimize risk.
  • This work involves sitting most of the time with brief periods of walking or standing and may occasionally require lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.

  • Base salary starts at $62,500 / year
  • Medical, dental and vision on your first day! You can choose the most generous Health Savings Account (HSA)-eligible medical plan with no monthly premium for you (and your family)
  • If you are at least 21 years old, you will receive a 3% contribution from MSGCU, and a 100% match for the next 7% you contribute to your 401(k)
  • You will enjoy 12 paid holidays and up to 120 hours of PTO your first year of service (pro-rated based on start date)
