Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation seeks a Marketing Analyst to deliver insights and reports for the Marketing Department. The role is onsite in Highland, CA, five days a week, coordinating data from multiple sources to drive revenue, profit and engagement.
You will build dashboards in Power BI, SAS Visual Analytics or Tableau, perform market and customer analysis, and present findings to stakeholders with a data-driven narrative.
Reports to the Supervisor, Marketing Analytics, the Marketing Analyst will provide insights and report on findings via data visualizations and stories derived from various sources related to marketing activities for the Marketing Department. By exploring market trends, competitors, potential and existing customers, the Marketing Analyst will help to foster a data driven environment through the creation of models and analysis that drive revenue, profit and engagement. Coordinates with staff throughout the organization and external agencies to collect and retrieve data required for research projects. This is position is onsite 5 days per week in Highland, CA. There is no remote or hybrid options.
Bachelor's degree preferably in business or quantitative field (e.g. Economics, Statistics, Math) or related field required. Master's degree preferred. Minimum two (2) years of experience data analysis from start to finish in a marketing, sales or media environment required. Casino marketing or casino analytics experience preferred. Related, relevant, and/or direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational requirements indicated above.
Experience with data visualization, reporting & dashboard building tools such as SAS visual Analytics, Power BI, or Tableau not just for content, but also to make dynamic dashboards/reports. Experience in at least 1 of the following programming languages: Statistical Analysis System (SAS), Structured Query Language (SQL), Python, or R-programming language. Proficiency in SAS is a plus. Must be able to work in fast paced, high-performance environment with tight deadlines. Requires ability to think critically and independently, while at the same time the ability to know when to ask for help; requires excellent common sense. Familiarity with casino operations and an understanding of player behavior and segmentation is strongly preferred. Ability to self-manage project based upon defined timelines and variable outcomes required. Ability to complete projects that require long hours prepping presentation materials from not just a content, but even "making them dynamic" perspective.
At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license. No Driving Responsibilities: Role does not require a driver's license or insurance.

Hearing sufficient to hear conversational levels in person, via videoconference and over the telephone. Speech sufficient to make oneself heard and understood in person, in front of groups, in meetings, via videoconference and over the telephone. Visual acuity that meets the requirements of the position: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading and visual inspection of employees, visitors or facility. Mobility sufficient to safely move in an office environment, walk, stoop, bend and kneel, and enter, exit and operate a motor vehicle in the course of travel to promotional events, meetings, conferences, trade shows and San Manuel properties. Endurance sufficient to sit, walk and stand for extended periods, and maintain efficiency throughout the entire work shift and during extended work hours.
