The Marketing Administrator is the Marketing team’s primary on-site representative at the Mandan plant and in the Bis-Man community, providing local support to colleagues working across multiple states and time zones.
Success in this role requires exceptional organization, communication, and relationship-building skills.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-directed, and adaptable, with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. This position is part of a small, collaborative marketing team whose members bring diverse experience and expertise.
This multifaceted role calls for someone who embodies Cloverdale’s core values of Family, Hungry, and Adventurer. The successful candidate will confidently use and improve existing processes, develop new systems when needed, and remain resourceful and flexible when information is limited.
The Marketing Administrator collaborates closely with remote teammates and cross-functional partners in Human Resources, Operations, Sales, and Senior Leadership. As a local brand ambassador, this individual manages community partnerships and charitable contributions throughout the Bis-Man area and responds to consumer inquiries with care, diplomacy, and urgency.
90% of the work is conducted in an office setting, involving time spent on computer research, project management, and communication with team members and stakeholders. Frequent participation in both in-person and virtual meetings, including project updates, strategy sessions, and presentations to management and stakeholders.
5% Visits to the production areas will involve exposure to machinery, noise, varying temperatures, humidity, and wet conditions.
<5% Occasional travel locally for events, training, meetings, conferences, etc.
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed based on operational requirements.
Must be comfortable sharing office space with other professionals and performing repetitive, computer-based tasks. This includes extended periods of sitting, reaching with hands and arms, and using input devices such as a keyboard, mouse, and other tools. The role requires maintaining focus on detailed screen work for prolonged durations, including tasks such as data analysis, report preparation, and troubleshooting operational issues.
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, reach, stretch, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
Must be able to communicate through various channels, including phone, email, face-to-face, and videoconferencing, effectively building and presenting organized data and plans to leadership, internal and external groups of various sizes, and key stakeholders. Ability to possess a very high level of social interaction.
Must be comfortable working outdoors on rare occasions.
Ability to work under high- stress environments and strict deadlines with demands from multiple units.

At Cloverdale Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. Actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
