Location: Brooklyn, NY (4 Days) & New York, NY (1 Day)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday through Friday – Standard Business Hours

Description

A social services organization is seeking a motivated Marketing Associate to support outreach, engagement, and brand visibility across multiple programs and platforms. This is an entry-level role ideal for someone who is creative, organized, and passionate about using marketing to connect diverse communities with essential services.

The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working across departments to promote initiatives and ensure messaging is clear, inclusive, and effective.

What You’ll Do

• Create digital marketing materials for social media and campaigns
• Manage and grow social media presence across multiple platforms
• Collaborate with department leaders to promote services and initiatives
• Stay up to date with social media trends and optimize content accordingly
• Work with design teams to maintain consistent branding
• Engage with users online and direct inquiries appropriately
• Ensure all content is culturally relevant, ADA accessible, and compliant with regulations
• Coordinate outreach initiatives, events, and community engagement efforts
• Track performance metrics and report insights to leadership
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
• Minimum 1 year of marketing or related experience
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing, content creation, and branding
• Proficiency with social media platforms, email marketing tools, and analytics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Willingness to travel between locations in NYC

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in social services or nonprofit environment
• Bilingual (Mandarin, Cantonese, or Spanish)
• Familiarity with design tools and content platforms

Physical Requirements

• Ability to travel to multiple locations for meetings and events
• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs
• Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance
