Position Overview

This position will play an integral role in the growth of Alkegen’s Industrial Thermal Insulation group focused on the steel portfolio. Success depends on being proactive, collaborative, engaging cross-functional teams, and focusing on strategic approaches to meet sales commitments. Based on performance, this role offers excellent opportunities for career progression within the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute sales initiatives on time and achieve forecasted revenues.
  • Develop, coordinate, and execute the commercial strategy for the business by building relationships with key clients.
  • Work cross-functionally with Business Managers, Operations, Application Engineering, and R&D to drive growth initiatives.
  • Drive rapid introduction and sales at major clients to gain market share regionally and globally.
  • Propose new product initiatives supported by strong business cases and accurate data.
  • Understand regulatory, market, and competitive landscape for new opportunities.
  • Maintain clear records of opportunities and sales forecasts.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems for sales management.
  • Support current operations and strategic planning.
  • Participate in industry events and committees.
  • Maintain an ethical approach to business.
Professional Experience / Qualifications
  • Minimum 5-10 years of sales and market development experience in the steel sector.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering.
