Job summary

FHLB Dallas invites students to join a Market Risk Internship to learn how the bank measures and manages market risk using advanced models and data analytics. You will assist with reporting, data validation, and improving Power BI dashboards under supervision.

The role offers 40 hours per week with flexible hours, exposure to risk management practices, and collaboration across IT, Treasury and Accounting teams at the Irving location.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree with a GPA of 3.25 or better.
• Strong conceptual, analytic and information technology skills for financial risk measurement.
• Knowledge in VBA, SQL, PowerBI and MS Office; ability to automate data manipulation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with measuring the Bank’s market risk and preparing reports.
• Support data validation and accuracy of inputs and models.
• Enhance Power BI dashboards and datasets for performance and visualization.
• Collaborate with IT, Treasury, Financial Operations and other departments.
